Heading out tomorrow as soon as I finish my duties on the Ashe County Board of Elections in the a.m. It's the final time packing things up and setting out. West Virginia - Hawk's Nest State Park - is my destination. It's supposed to be really cool. A tram, a lodge, a party, and then the last day on the River. Or at least what passes for the River as it goes through the "dries" and meets up with the Gauley and ends up in the Kanawha on Wednesday.
The picture at right was my last foray on the River proper at Radford, VA, on Wednesday 8.5. Seems like a long time ago!
