The reading went great last night. To start, I had an entourage of Henry, Sam, Anne Knight, Susan, Bill & Alex. They did a great job cheering me on. (You really find out who your friends are when you're moving, or when you're doing a reading at a bookstore.) And, I got to go first, which is my favorite spot; I get the chance to get my bit over with, then I can enjoy the rest of the writers' stuff. I felt like I was in pretty damn good company; some very good poetry was read, and interesting stories, too.
